Blogger Just Playin' said...
Oh yea! I got to be first! Now what do I want to ask? Hmmmm. Well, why don't you tell us how much of what you write about is true? And how much is a story? Doesn't really matter though.
Sandra, I draw off personal experiences, use a little exaggeration, a dash of imagination, a bottle of beer, then just write it in a blog. My only goal when writing, it to make it enjoyable. the answer then would be...............keep guessing.

Blogger Marla said...

Hmmmm ... well, Bob, I wanna know if ya ever kissed a gator?
Marla, LOL, not quite, unless you count the chick that went to Florida. I did encounter one in south Lousiana, at the shipping grave yard once though. We had just moored a disabled tug, that was being taken out of service.I was walking over to the little office, when out of the reeds growing at the waters edge, I spotted a baby gator, about four feet long. No stopping to kiss it, no hellos, no hand shake, afraid this ole boy just wanted distance, and the sooner the better.

Blogger Farila said...

How did you fare in your high school? What did you excel in .. sports? studies? mischief?
Farila, did my sister send you here? LOL. I was skipped a grade, ended up in the same classes with my older sister, she was not appreciative, I obliged, with as much orneriness as i could possibly muster. Studies came easy for me as I never did any, I used the osmosis approach.I was always  smaller than my peers, but quicker, so sports was an outlet to shine. People are stunned when out matched by a smaller but quicker opponent. Track, boxing, and soccer, over seas, stateside, I was considered too small for most coaches then, played base ball, and had more inside the park homers than most of the heavy hitters. My senior year of high school I grew 6.5 inches, much to the surprise of all my class mates.

I love awards, I've never gotten one other than the one you gave me. I finally figured out how to place it on my blog :) Thank you so much for mentioning me. That was really nice!
Ally, wow I feel honored to have given you your first award, I had trouble with my first one as well, in fact, I didn't even realize that I had been given one, lol, talk about dense.

What would be on the menu of your last supper, and who would you invite? The guests could be living or dead, famous or non......
Amy, what a great question, there are so many. Mark Twain and Will Rogers at the same table, with Earl Nightingale, and Muhamed Ali, would be a blast. At another table, Idi Amin, Al Sharpton, Hitler, Sahdam Husein, along with Ghandi and Martin Luther King, now that would be a lively conversed table.
I guess we would have to serve crow for some, steaks for others, and beer for me.

Blogger ....Petty Witter said...

Your having a dinner party for yourself and five others, who would you have as your guests?
Petty, hmm...just five. Ok here is the ultimate.
Jesus, Muhammad, Dali Llama, Buddha, and The Pope, I would ask only one question, and they would not be able to leave the table until the question was answered. "Why can't we all just get along"?
No food till the question is answered, while I drink beer, crack jokes, and eat fried chicken.

Blogger Kfred said...

Just a simple quandry that I'm sure you can clarify for me: So, how come Verizon has more 3G coverage than ATT?
Kfred, I am so glad that some one asked me this question, since I am so well versed on all of the technical aspects of how the cell phones work. Only one answer makes sense, GOOGLE IT.

Why doesn't McDonalds sell hotdogs?
Ryan, Ronald McDonald is allergic to hot dogs I am afraid. It goes back to when Ronald and Count Von Weinerschnitzel, had a bet on a Yankees game, Ronald lost.

Blogger Sarah said...

what's the most unusual country you've ever been and why?
Sarah, the most unusual country, hands down would be Libya. Located on the Mediterranean Sea to the north, beautifully landscaped with all types of vegetation, plat flowers, thriving with life, and beautiful people, To the south, the wonders of the Sahara  Desert, huge sand dunes, a constant change of wind swept sand.
A country rich in little know history, from Leptis Magna . a famous Phonecian trading port, I have been all around this ampitheater.
To Tobruk, a site where the British surrendered to Rommel, a significant turning point in history for the American involvement. Roosevelt and Churchill, came to an agreement over a lunch, after Churchill received a telegram of the surrender. Roosevelt committed the Sherman tanks for his use. The blood stained wall had a definite impact on me.

Hi Bob, How are you doing? The question that I would like to ask is why is food now served in buckets? What next...troughs?
Alice, whats wrong with buckets, aren't you glad they aren't served in bed pans? ewwwww...I hear it now, it would really cut down on the appetite though.

Blogger Kate Lightfoot said...

Hmmmm, a tricky one! You are good with words. Which ONE word sums up you. Happy Christmas. Kate
Kate, wow, a toughie.
One word "Plain" as in a broad level expanse, as a lunar sea, simple in manner, out spoken like hell, downright evident. So just plain ole "plain", thats me.

Blogger RawknRobynsGoneBlogWild said...

My question is a two-parter: (1A) What is your philosophy of life? and (1B) boxers or briefs?
Robyn, I believe that you are where you are and are what you are because you have mad that choice. I reduce everything to the its  smallest component, so that I can play with it as I want. I am not good at multi-tasking.
Boxers or briefs, hmm...how to reveal this............I wear none....yep nothin.....zero...zip....bare butted....thats my choice.

Hmmmm ... keeping the suspense as we hold our breaths and turn blue to hear from you.......
Farila, sorry no suspense, I am one of those people that has never had the "Christmas blues" before, and have been bitten this year big time, pleas do not turn blue.

big big hugs> that's cute, haha. one question for you, who inspired you to make a blog?
aLia, I was not inspired as much a searching for an outlet to rid my self of the demons of the nightmares that were haunting my sleep. I found that after I expressed my self, of my emotions that I was feeling, from a traumatic accident that had happened, it released something inside of me that freed me up to be able to sleep again for the first time in over ten years. It wasn't a who but a what, I almost stopped after I was able to sleep, then I read a post by Mis Rae at .http://myweathervane.blogspot.com/ .

That's easy! If people made a statue of you after you had died... a) what material would it be made out of and why? b) what reason (accomplishment) would people have honoured you with this statue in the first place? Merry Christmas Handsome and a Bloggin' Great 2010! xoxo Me. Ms Burb, the material would have to be without ant doubt be, empty beer bottles, a true reflection of red neck humor and how it was achieved. The only reason that I could think of for being honored, is that a few drinkin buddies got together, drank all those beers and didn't know what else to do with the empty bottles.
